Say When's Rooibos Chai combines the great taste of organic South African rooibos with the smooth spicy flavor of chai. It's full of flavor, not too sweet, and best of all it's 100% caffeine free! This drink is particularly popular among health-conscious consumers, due to its high level of antioxidants such as aspalathin and nothofagin low tannin levels compared to fully oxidized black tea or unoxidized green tea leaves.
Offering the same spice profile as Say When's Authentic Chai, the Rooibos version is loaded with antioxidants, great for kids, great before bedtime, or just plain great! Rooibos is asserted to assist with nervous tension, allergies, and digestive problems. Traditional medicinal uses of rooibos in South Africa include alleviating infantile colic, allergies, asthma and dermatological problems.

"This Say When mix is a 1:3 super concentrates, so just 2oz chai to 6oz milk (or substitute) to make an 8oz cup, rather than the 4oz of brewed chai needed with a standard 1:1 liquid chai ratio. In other words, this 1:3 concentrate will yield twice the number of cups.
Say When's Rooibos chai is claimed to be 'the same spice profile' as their Authentic Chai, but in my taste testing I found it to be somewhat higher in spice and sweet than the Authentic Chai. it a bit different. Perhaps this is due to the flavor of Rooibos tea, which is quite different from black tea."
