Blue Lotus Star Anise masala chai contains all of the signature BLC spices with star anise contributing deep, yet subtle notes of licorice. Free of all sugars, milk powders, artificial flavors and colors, as well as any other undesirable additives, Blue Lotus uses black tea grown in northern India, which is rich in antioxidants. Studies have found this tea to have tremendous potential health benefits. And the organic spices in these chai blends have been used for centuries by many cultures for their profound healing and rejuvenating properties.
Ingredients: Naturally brewed and dried black tea powder, 100% Certified Organic spices: ginger root powder, ground cardamom, powdered cinnamon, ground black pepper, ground nutmeg, ground cloves, star anise powder.

"Blue Lotus Star Anise is like the Traditional Masala Chai in terms of it’s powerful chai spice punch... packed into just 1/4 teaspoon! (How do they do it?!) But Star Anise gives a radically different flavor blend, as the star anise is distinctly out front. And yet, the flavor at no point becomes one dimensional -- it remains full and balanced. Blue Lotus Chai seem to have mastered the ability to deliver strong chai spice flavors in a mix, so as to truly capture authentic Indian Chai and its variants. The only drawback (if this is a drawback for you) is that you have to mix water and milk and add your own sweetener. This is, admittedly, a bit more effort than you will find in most other chai mixes. But if you are willing, you will reap the reward, every time."
