"The numbers are helpful, no doubt, but they never tell the full story: Monin Chai Tea syrup is a bit of a different thing than the other offerings of chai microbrewers. While Monin offers green tea chai flavoring without a doubt, the taste includes a hint of what I can only call a 'liqueur' style flavoring. While I must confess I'm not a liqueur drinker, so that might not be the best term, yet the characteristic bite reminds me of something along the lines of amaretto or another alcohol-tinged drink. It's mild but definitely in there. Beyond that primary distinction it is a relatively low bodied, moderate spice and sweetness. Note: The primary 'competition' for Monin chai syrup is Torani Chai Tea syrup, which is significantly thinner, lighter and a bit weaker on all counts."
