Formerly known as "Spicy Ginger," Third Street Chai's Dragon Tongue is a generously spiced blend of fine black tea, fiery ginger and freshly milled aromatic spices. Micro-brewed with Fair Trade Certified Black Tea and pure Rocky Mountain water. 81% Fair Trade Ingredients.
Ingredients: Filtered Water, Fair Trade Certified Organic Cane Sugar, Fair Trade Certified Organic Black Tea, Organic Ginger, Organic Cardamom, Organic Cinnamon, Organic Cloves, Organic Black Pepper, Organic Fennel, Organic Chai Extract, Organic Ginger Extract, Organic Nutmeg, Citric Acid.
Attributes: USDA Organic, Certified Kosher & Gluten Free, Non-GMO Verified, Wind Powered Operation.
Format: Liquid Concentrate 1:1 ratio
Preparation: Shake well, add equal amounts of concentrate with milk or milk substitute.
Additional information: Third Street Chai is brewed authentically, under the watchful eyes and hands of our in-house brewmasters. After blending and milling our freshly delivered, whole spices by hand, each batch of spices is swiftly settled into custom kettles, designed in accordance with the ideals of tradition, consistency and purity in mind. The freshly milled spices are coaxed to release their richest attributes, and the chai is brewed and finished to a perfect pitch – not too sweet, not too spicy, but a gentle and steady balance between every flavor we love.

"Whoa! There's a kick in this one! Third Street's Dragon Tongue has plenty of spicy ginger. In fact, Third Street's standard Authentic Chai, already hits the ginger slightly harder than most other brands. This is partly why we've ranked it relatively high on the spice meter, coming in at a strong 8. But their Spicy Ginger has taken that a step beyond, and cranked it way up. You can even smell the ginger's distinct aroma in a prepared cup of Dragon Tongue. Although I wouldn't call it overpowering by any means, it is very definitely "up front" in the mix. If you like ginger, this is the chai for you."
