Third Street's Mystic Masala Spice Chai is the flagship product of the 1:1 ratio. This lightly sweetened and perfectly balanced blend of fine black tea and spices is micro-brewed with pure Rocky Mountain water. 72% Fair Trade Ingredients.
Ingredients: Filtered Water, Fair Trade Certified Organic Cane Sugar, Organic Cardamom,Fair Trade Certified Organic Black Tea, Organic Cinnamon, Organic Ginger, Organic Clove, Organic Fennel, Organic Nutmeg, Organic Black Pepper, Citric Acid.
Attributes: USDA Organic, Certified Kosher & Gluten Free, Non-GMO Verified, Wind Powered Operation.
Format: Liquid Concentrate 1:1 ratio
Preparation: Shake well, add equal amounts of concentrate with milk or milk substitute.
Additional information: Third Street Chai is brewed authentically, under the watchful eyes and hands of our in-house brewmasters. After blending and milling our freshly delivered, whole spices by hand, each batch of spices is swiftly settled into custom kettles, designed in accordance with the ideals of tradition, consistency and purity in mind. The freshly milled spices are coaxed to release their richest attributes, and the chai is brewed and finished to a perfect pitch – not too sweet, not too spicy, but a gentle and steady balance between every flavor we love.
TASTE-O-METER Rating:
"The first thing you notice about Third Street's Mystic Masala is its significantly stronger spices than other brands. It is also sweet, but not excessively so. Where Oregon Original dominates the "sweet" end of things, and Say When nails down the "bold" side, it would be safe to say that Third Street rules in the "spice" department... at least in regard to liquid concentrates, that is. When we look at dry mixes, that's a whole 'nuther animal. In any case, I'd say this offering by Third Street is full bodied (although slightly less so that Say When). Since I prefer my chai to have a little kick to it, this is actually one of my favorites. I think the 'ideal chai' needs the spices to stand out a bit, or it's just not chai. If that's what you are after, Mystic Masala by Third Street is a good choice."
