The best chai latte at home! Dona Tea adds just enough sugar to bring out the complexities of the spices, so it's a "spice-forward" chai taste that is not overly sweet. Dona grinds the spices fresh in their mill room before steeping for over an hour in small batches in custom kettles. While steeping, the spices remain in constant circulation to optimize extraction, then the concentrate is filtered, sweetened and bottled. Ingredients are tracead back to the farm level in order to contribute to a more equitable food system and provide a product you can feel good about!
Ingredients: Purified water, sugar, ginger, cinnamon, green cardamom, organic black tea, molasses, black pepper, cloves, citric acid.
Type: Liquid Concentrate 1:1 ratio
Preparation: Shake Well. Add even parts concentrate with milk or milk substitute. Heat and serve, or pour over ice. Garnish with Dona spice dust.

"Where Say When Authentic dominates in the bold, full bodiedness area, but is relatively low spice and low sweet, and Third Street Chai is on the other side of the spectrum, offering a more piercing spice and moderately high sweetness, Dona is right in the middle... the proverbial "sweet spot" perhaps? The spices are forward but not excessive, and the sweetness is pleasant but not overpowering. All in all, Dona is a well balanced offering."
